Editor's Verdict
Consider ComfyStream if its documented workflow matches your experiment; start from the linked repository rather than an unofficial mirror.
Check the licence and run a small local evaluation before choosing it for production. No ratings or measured results are inferred from its publication.
How It Works
- Loads a ComfyUI workflow and processes incoming video frames through its nodes, returning the output to a streaming client.
What We Like
- Reuses familiar ComfyUI workflows and includes a webcam UI, server and local or cloud installation guides.
Current Limitations
- Workflows need supported input and output nodes. Complex graphs may be too slow for live use, and restrictive networks can require a TURN relay.
Pricing & Access
- Repository code: MIT. Model weights and dependencies may have separate terms.
- No hosted price is estimated here. Budget for your own GPU or cloud usage after testing a representative workload.
Verification Summary
- Official repository and licence reviewed on 2026-09-05. Video Runtime has not installed or benchmarked this project.
- This is a source review, not verification of demo uptime, output quality or performance on your hardware.
Technical notes & official performance
Official Performance Data
- Maintainers document an Ubuntu and RTX 4090 setup. That compatibility example is not a throughput promise for every workflow.
Technical Notes
- The original author's repository directs active development to Livepeer's fork. Models and custom nodes are installed separately.
