Real-Time AI Video Cost Calculator

Estimate clip, session and monthly spend using source-linked provider rates. Standard pricing is highlighted for production planning.

Rates are time-stamped. Taxes, storage, bandwidth and unrelated model costs are excluded unless stated.

QUICK START

Choose a workload

sec

Provider-billed output duration per generated clip.

Generated scenes requested in each session.

Expected sessions across one day.

Share served without a new generation. Enter 0.20 for 20%.

Extra generation caused by failures or rejected outputs. Enter 0.10 for 10%.

Target gross margin used for suggested revenue. Enter 0.60 for 60%.

HOW IT WORKS

From workload to monthly estimate

01 · Interactive

Clips per session × sessions per day × (1 − cache) × (1 + retry), then output seconds × rate.

02 · Public channel

Active hours × 3,600 ÷ clip duration × (1 − idle) × (1 − reuse) × (1 + retry), then output seconds × rate.

03 · API batch

Output minutes × 60 × (1 + retry), then output seconds × rate.

Included

Provider-billed output time, configured retries, cache, idle and reused-content assumptions, plus a margin planning target.

Excluded

Taxes, storage, bandwidth, uploads, prompts, reference tokens, moderation, orchestration, unrelated models and provider minimums.

Price evidence

Every selectable rate keeps its endpoint, source URL, effective period and verification date. No prices are scraped at runtime.

FAQ

Cost planning, without hidden assumptions

How accurate is this AI video cost estimate?

The arithmetic is deterministic, but the estimate is only as current as the source-linked provider rate and your workload assumptions. Recheck the official price before a production decision.

Why is standard pricing selected by default?

Temporary discounts can end or change. Standard pricing is the safer default for production planning, while launch pricing remains available for comparison and history.

What happens when launch pricing expires?

The recorded H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo launch rates are valid through September 7, 2026. After that date they are labeled historical and never treated as a permanent price.

How do retries, cache and reused content affect cost?

Retries increase generated output. Interactive cache and shared-channel reuse reduce new generation. The calculator applies these ratios before multiplying by the per-second rate.

Does a larger audience increase generation cost?

Viewer count does not change provider generation cost for a shared channel. It only spreads that cost across viewer and viewer-minute estimates. At zero viewers, those divided values are omitted.

What costs are included and excluded?

The estimate includes billed video output seconds and your retry, cache, idle or reuse assumptions. It excludes taxes, storage, bandwidth, input media, unrelated model calls, moderation, orchestration and provider minimums unless stated.

Does V1 estimate reference-to-video input charges?

No. Reference-to-video is disabled because its input-token charges are not modeled in V1. The calculator will not show a falsely precise estimate for it.
